We are centrally located for the town centre’s of Keswick, Cockermouth, Penrith and Carlisle.

Locally there are walks across the nearby Northern Fells and to the attractive villages of Caldbeck and Hesket Newmarket. The Cumbria Way also passes nearby. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside and walking for all ages and abilities.

We're also ideal for Cyclists as we're situated close to the C2C cycle route, and have secure storage available, if required.

There is a tennis court nearby and swimming pools within 20 mins by car.

There are some excellent places to eat locally in Caldbeck, Hesket Newmarket and Uldale.

From the M6

Leave at Junction 41 and take the B5305 west to Wigton. Travel through Unthank and turn left - sign posted Caldbeck on the B5299.

This road takes you through the villages of Heskett Newmarket and Caldbeck. Keep the Oddfellows public house to your right and continue up the hill out of the village for a mile with the river on your right. You’ll pass a small bridge on the right, we are another mile on the left-hand side. If you go over the cattle grid you’ve gone too far!
